If we had a pound for every time someone told us we need to open a shop, well…we’d probably have enough to open a shop by now.
But guess what guys!? We’re finally doing it! We’ll have our very own pop-up shop for 6 whole days in August at The Old Truman Brewery – if it goes well, who knows, maybe it’ll become a more permanent thing…
When: Tuesday 14th – Sunday 19th August | 8am-9pm
Where: The Old Truman Brewery, 8 Dray Walk, Shoreditch, E1 6NJ (opposite Big Chill)
With a packed out week of events lined up, plus our entire range of teas all under one roof (hot cuppas, iced teas, matcha lattes – plus full packs to buy!) it’s a must visit for tea lovers!
And best of all…?
Every single penny spent in-store will be donated to The Point Foundation - a wonderful charity working with vulnerable members of the tea growing communities in Rwanda.
To be slightly more specific, we’re hoping to raise £5,000 to support a new project The Point Foundation are working on in Mwogo village, Bugesera – one of the poorest regions in Rwanda.
As part of the Mwogo development plan, Point Foundation aim to open a Vocational Training Centre by January 2019 – the centre will train vulnerable youngsters in valuable skills such as mechanics, tailoring, hairdressing and plumbing. Armed with these skills, they will be able to gain skilled jobs and raise themselves out of poverty.
If we manage to hit our £5,000 target – our pop up shop will fully cover the cost of setting up this centre. So, hopefully that's enough reason on its own for you to come and buy your tea with us for the next 6 days!
We've got an awesome line up of events throughout the week - check out our schedule below and get your tickets quick, as they are bound to sell out!
