Each month, we give our wonderful stockists a different theme and ask them to send us photos of how they best show off our teas. We then pick who has tagged @teapigs and used #teapigsstockist with the best picture to find our stockist of the month! Last month's theme was "winter warmer” and the stand out shot was this spicy snap from TeaCups, a family run café in Romsey. We asked them some questions to find out a bit more about them so grab a cuppa and have a read...

you’ve got 50 words to describe your business…go!

We are a small, family run, friendly little cafe in a listed building, formerly a terraced house, in the centre of Romsey. We are lucky to have a lovely little courtyard garden, quite a suntrap. We serve freshly cooked all day breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and treats.

what made you decide to choose teapigs?

We’ve been serving teapigs since we started running the cafe in 2016 and love the variety of teas it enables us to offer our customers. We have a 91 year old former customer, now in a nursing home, who still gets his daughter to keep him stocked up with his favourite chilli chai. We also really admire your ethos with sustainability, ethical schemes and community support.

if you could only have one teapigs tea for the rest of your life, which would you pick?

Megan (sister) loves the green tea with mint, Jake (son) is a big fan of cleanse and Alison (Mum) cannot be without yerba maté first thing in the morning.

how did TeaCups begin?

TeaCups began in 2016 when the opportunity arose to take on a little cafe in Romsey. Megan and Jake had experience in the industry and we thought as a team we could make a go of it!

if we were to come by to your cafe, what’s your best seller?

Our all day breakfasts are our most popular dish. Along with the traditional full English, we offer vegetarian , vegan and gluten free choices, perfectly paired with a pot of teapigs tea of course!
