At this point in 2020, we'd say we're virtually professionals at this whole working from home malarky. Sure, our computer screens may be being raised up by the mountain of books we swore we'd get through as our reading challenge during the first lockdown, but we've mastered the art of the lie-in through commute o'clock, and the work attire from the waist up, comfies from the waist down look.
But, with the new norm seeming to be status quo for the foreseeable future, there's one thing we're making more effort to do regularly - making time for each other. Where we used to be able to have a natter around the kettle in the kitchen, or pop to the pub after work, or round to a mates for a catchup, we're all a little more isolated than we used to be.
Enter stage left, the virtual tea break. This Friday, for World Kindness Day, we challenge you to make some time in your day to check in on someone you haven't been in touch with for a while - whether it's a colleague, a friend, or even your mum, share a brew and take some time to reconnect.
For a little inspiration, we asked some of team teapigs what their favourite thing about virtual tea breaks are. Here's what they had to say!
